This Labour Day, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to every worker in Uganda. Your labour is the heartbeat of our nation’s progress and the emblem of our collective pride. Together, let’s continue building a prosperous Uganda for ourselves & generations to come.
Happy #LabourDay
Always delighted to welcome the HM Revenue & Customs team to Uganda Revenue Authority.
Yesterday I signed a capacity-building MOU with HMRC's Rachel Austin, Head of International Capacity Building. A big thank you to HMRC for the continued support & opportunity to share knowledge and best practices.
Can you issue an e-receipt even when the internet is down?
Yes you can. Take a listen to a highlight from the John R. Musinguzi’s cameo on the Capital Gang earlier today.
We remain grateful to Capital FM Uganda for this tax education opportunity.

My key takeaway from today's #CapitalGang is that VAT is an indirect tax that is not paid by traders but by us, the consumers, & traders have been collecting it from us but not remitting it to Uganda Revenue Authority. Why shld I pay a tax & u, as a trader, EAT it? EFRIS is to end this theft.
“In a way EFRIS should actually make the tax payers happy.” - John R. Musinguzi
#TheCapitalGang
Honored to have joined #TheCapitalGang show today. A heartfelt thanks to Oskar Semweya-Musoke and the Gang stars for the robust discussions. Dialogues like these are key to enhancing tax compliance and civic duty. EFRIS benefits us all—let's fully embrace it and ensure VAT compliance.
Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters.
I wish you peace, prosperity, and happiness on this blessed occasion. #EidMubarak
Grateful to NBS Television for hosting me this morning to discuss the equitable distribution of our civic duty of paying taxes.
This conversation is crucial for Uganda’s development because we all have a role to play in our nation’s progress.
Eager for more such insightful discussions.
