Our Document of the Month is an illustration showing a 1705 Christmas meal - a roast peacock! As you can see in this illustration, the feathers of the bird have been re-attached after roasting it to make it look even more extravagant.

Our Year 12 History students participated in the The National Archives Live Tudor event this afternoon. It has been fascinating to witness the unboxing of original documents, with highlights such as Robert Dudley's last letter to Elizabeth I!
