Last week Holocaust survivors in New York came together to light the menorah on the last night of Hanukkah. Bringing light to the world during a dark time. I took this photo during a Hanukkah celebration hosted by UJA-Federation of New York, UJA Witness Project & Sid Jacobson JCC. #neverforget
Today, WJCS gathered with #Holocaustsurvivors & their families for a #Hanukkah celebration at WRT! Thanks to NYS Senator Senator Shelley Mayer & NYS Assemblyman NYS Assemblymember Chris Burdick, and to our partners @UJAFedNY & Claims Conference for joining us to create these momentous occasions.
I had an amazing time at Boston Secor’s holiday toy drive with Mosholu Montefiore Community Center! Our partners at MMCC do incredible work to uplift our young people everyday. Thank you UJA-Federation of New York for the generous donation of toys and helping us celebrate the great things happening in the district.
Next up! We stopped by Edenwald Community Center to give out toys and spread some holiday cheer. Lots of happy faces and smiles! It would not be possible without our partners at Mosholu Montefiore Community Center and UJA-Federation of New York.
