🚨 NY Trump trial jury instructions watch

UPDATE: We heard from the court that we likely won’t see the final jury charges until they’re read to the jury. The court’s aim is to publish them online afterward.

No sleep for the weary!

Just got irrationally excited at a new entry on the NY Trump trial public docket thinking it was jury instructions...only to realize it was the written decision for a ruling Justice Merchan issued from the bench back in March.

In other words, it's time for bed.

At the Trump trial this week, I met a member of the public who began waiting in line on Sunday just to get access to the courtroom on Tuesday.

He slept in the park for two nights & bathed w/ baby wipes.

I asked him why, and he said: 'It's good to get out of your comfort zone.'

This seems to suggest that the prosecutors are settling on a sole legal theory of the cover-up: NY election law 17-152.

I guess that's one way to ensure jury unanimity on the object offense (even though, as Quinta Jurecic and I have written, it's not required)
