Doing business with dictators creates a dangerous precedent. Lukashenka is looking for the smallest crack to exploit. Nobody should think they can make deals with the regime without getting blood on their hands. The dictator represents only himself, not the 9 million Belarusians.

Mass political repressions in Belarus began in May 2020 with the scandalous and unjust arrest of Siarhei Tsikhanouski, who dared to challenge Lukashenka. Since then, the regime's terror has escalated daily.

According to Belarusian human rights defenders, over the past four years

Appeasement won't work; business as usual won't work; there can't be any deals with dictators. Democracies must stand united against those who deny freedom. Shaking the bloody hands of dictators will only give them a sense of impunity to continue their crimes of torture & murder.

One of the questions I am often asked is: How is your husband? I wish I could give an answer, but I can't. I haven't received any news about him for more than a year. Today it's been four years since his arrest in Hrodno. I know in my heart that he wants me to continue our fight.

In the last few days, 6,723 Belarusians cast their votes in the Coordination Council election. The right to participate in free & democratic elections should be a reality for all Belarusians. We are committed to fighting for a future where every citizen can shape our nation's destiny.

This Friday, the Belarusian regime will conduct trials in absentia for 20 experts & journalists in exile. Singer Margarita Levchuk will also be tried for 'extremism'. Although these individuals are safe from the regime's reach, it attempts to intimidate them & their families.

Congratulations to all participants in the Coordination Council election, which has now ended. Democracy is the true winner, as the voting occurred despite the regime's intimidation tactics. Now the work must begin. Though diverse, our shared goal unites us: a free #Belarus .

Saddened by the news of the death of Vitold Ashurak's mother, Alena. Last week, on May 21, we marked the Day of Solidarity, the day Vitold died as a political prisoner in 2021. His mother passed away without seeing justice for her son, but our fight for justice continues.

Great news for the protection of our national Belarusian heritage! My deputy Pavel Latushka has just informed me that we have gained control of the State Catalog of the Museum Fund with nearly 165,000 historic objects. Now we can track & monitor these precious cultural artifacts.

The daughter of Alena Hnauk, a 67-year-old political prisoner, has managed to escape #Belarus with her 3 children & is now looking to restart her life in exile. It breaks my heart to see how many Belarusian families have been torn apart. Help Aliaksandra:
