The @Asda food drive starts today! 🛒

If you’re heading to the shops this weekend, please consider picking up a few items to donate.

There’ll be food bank staff and volunteers at many stores, who can let you know what items they need most. Thank you! 💚

🚨 Last year, food banks in our network provided over 1.1 MILLION emergency food parcels for children.

No child should ever have to know what a food bank is, let alone be supported by one.

This has to change. Our social security system must protect families from hunger.

Today, we hosted an event in partnership with the The Trussell Trust, raising awareness of the latest picture of food bank need across the UK, and the action needed to build a future where no one needs a food bank.

❌ Nobody should ever have to turn to a food bank. ❌

But right now, people like Linda are being left with no other option because their income is too low.

This has to change. ⤵️
