This has always been an issue, but it feels like there’s been a recent trend of celebrities having to directly tell fans they aren’t the characters they play: Fabian Frankel on “House of the Dragon”, Nathan Jones in “Furiosa.” It’s hard to quantify, but are things getting worse?

The last few minutes of the latest #MyHeroAcademia episode did not need to go as hard as it did. I know the Final War Arc in the Manga has major issues, but I do think that (for the most part) the anime has been an improvement on it.

This thing took over 4 hours to record. It took about a day and a half of stop-start recording. You folks better watch this video when it comes out, by the way.

Take a look at these 2 sets of videos. One set has clearly had more work put into them, better thumbnails, researched topics, actual interviews with serious people. The other is the same repeated garbage over and over with minimal effort. It does indeed pay to be a grifter.

We've literally had the Conservatives in power for 14 years. The first thing they did in office was load young people with more debt, under-invest in the public realm and cut the top rate of tax and corporation tax. Since then we've had essentially zero productivity growth.

This is probably my most anticipated Big Finish story for the rest of 2024.

There are very few actors who you could describe as a legitimate titan of culture but James Earl Jones became one amongst so many through just his voice alone. R.I.P. to James Earl Jones.

They'll do some diverse casting to try and appeal to people who now hate JK Rowling but we won't care and all her fans will be mad and racist about it and nobody will watch it and these kids will be in the firing line and I just can't not think this is all the worst idea ever.

You must have incredibly low self-respect to record a video of you trying and failing to open a toddler-proof box, pretend to get angry at the situation and then think "Yes, I will upload that for public view". It's almost sad just how pathetic they're willing to look.

Can confirm that this is the prevailing gossip in the industry. I heard a couple of months ago that they were really struggling to get meetings with agents/actors for some of the Hogwarts teacher roles because JK has so obviously gone off the mental deep-end & is a PR liability.
