Periodic inspections for Lockout Tagout are to be completed on an annual basis.

Make sure this task is getting done!

It’s important that LOTO procedures are correct & that your authorized employees know their responsibilities!

Happy Monday!

Go see the factory operators this morning!

Ask them how their weekend was!

Build a friendship!

Maybe add some safety in there while you watch them work 😊

Blame should not be put on the worker by management when an injury or illness occurs. We should look at the system as a whole for management gaps.

Blaming the worker does nothing to improve the safety program. When we improve the system, everyone benefits from a safer workplace.

Happy Monday!

Monday is the perfect day to get on the manufacturing floor and chat with you employees!

“What did you do this weekend?”

Creating a friendship builds trust between you and employees - trust creates more communication both ways on safety & health of the facility.

Don’t assume the knowledge of your employees, especially with new hires.

When you train, are your training for compliance to check a box or are you training to ensure your employees understand?

Train as if you’re training your son or daughter to ensure they don’t get hurt.
