'Some politicians in New York City want to bring us back to 2020 – or even 2013, when stop-and-frisk was still legal?'

Reminder: The NYC Streets Plan is not optional.

More than one million New Yorkers take the bus every day, and they need faster, more reliable buses.

In October, buses averaged just 8 mph. This is unacceptable.

We need more bus lanes and busways now.

Delivery work is one of the deadliest jobs in New York City.

Our city's 65,000+ delivery workers need a fair wage — without interference by big tech companies.

Bike lanes are for bikes.

Blocked bike lanes are dangerous for everyone using our roads.

Allowing MTA buses to ticket illegally-parked cars will combat this behavior.

Great news: The City Council passed the with a veto-proof majority.

This legislation is a huge win for transparency and police accountability.

We could speed up buses in New York City — the slowest in the nation — with all-door boarding, just like this.

The OMNY readers are already installed!

Parking mandates make rent more expensive, streets more congested, air more polluted.

We’re joining the effort to get them wiped from NYC’s zoning code.

Learn more about how these outdated zoning rules make city life harder & what you can do to help:

We've been saying this for a while. Cars are just getting way too big!

SUVs and trucks were 23% of US car sales in 1977.

Now they're over 80%, and individual models are getting heavier and taller.
