FWIW I really strongly disapprove of this notion of using your credentials from one role which can prescribe while acting in another which can’t - it’s a subversion of the intent of the regulations and of Parliament

I think this is a very fair point - I don’t like the race to the bottom approach for a range of reasons but I do expect that mutual solidarity to extend to everyone, from everyone.

The shuttering of SureStart was nothing short of an act of public vandalism.

Surestart was a lifeline when I had my first baby. A community, a place to get help on anything & everything, a place I went to religiously as an anxious new mum. By the time I had my third baby it had disappeared. A terrible, devastating unforgivable political & policy failure.

This is far too on the nose. She is surely just taking the piss.

I just think it’s really sad that something quite cool is being celebrated and so many responses are being prissy about language intended to be accessible to the public.
