Today, Welsh Government have announced that additional funding worth £770,000 is set to be received by the two children's hospices, Tŷ Hafan and Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospices.

Whilst this one-off payment is welcome, long-term sustainable funding is still desperately needed to ensure the hospices can plan longer term and reach many more seriously ill children and families in need of support.

Last summer, Martin House Children's Hospice hosted a joyous Eid event welcoming families to celebrate the Islamic festival using Morrisons Making Memories Together grant. With traditional music, décor and food, it was a memorable day for 29 families from across Yorkshire.
