I agree! I've even heard from nontech people they are no longer using Google and are switching to AI

The funny thing about the email from Elon Musk about "what you did last week" is that it is standard practice for most software devs. At all previous companies I've worked for, we would do daily standups and share what we worked on yesterday and what we plan to work on today.

Because Google’s main revenue stream is ads that lead to external sites, there has to be internal conflict: Do they deliver the answer directly on the search page—or funnel users to websites where they’ll spend more time?
