Pause and read Enuma Okoro about water and Venice. Reminds me of our niger delta and Gabriel Okara's 'Call of The River Nun.'

I read 'Piranesi' by Susanna Clarke earlier this week on a long train journey. What an absolutely magical book! Strongly recommended. (An added delight is that it provides inspiration for a project I'm engrossed in right now.)
