Mrs. Dos Santos first graders sing the month of the year song every morning with a movement to represent each month. Yesterday, they created their final movement to correspond with the month of May! Sing along!

Math is everywhere! First graders in Ms. Porter’s class went on an outdoor counting adventure through our grade level gardens!

Here, first grade students are using movement to comprehend the meaning of new words, “contest” and “hoist” before reading a new chapter in their Amplify Skills reader.

Our first graders are excited to observe the changes and growth in native milkweed seeds that will soon be planted in their grade level monarch butterfly garden!

4th graders in Ms Glickstein’s class are learning about complete and incomplete metamorphosis. They observed different stages if the butterfly's life cycle in our 1st grade monarch 🦋 garden!

During Moonshot, our 3rd gr learned/experienced vocab (thru visual arts, motions, & interactive games) reading our three anchor texts. One of the words was “splattered.” These Ss were seen “splattering” paint using the same motion used to act out the vocab word! Vocab in action!
