Ah it’s 8pm & that’s it from us & Lithuania. It’s been a lovely week here & really enjoyed it but the final supper beckons & luggage to pack.

7am I’m on the train to Belarus for two days as haven’t seen my dad for two years but no tweeting as can be, problematic there.🤐

I had the loveliest spicy pork sausages I’ve ever tasted with a cabbage dish & Sash had a rolled pork thing stuffed with cheese which to me tasted unusual but he liked it.😋

On Sunday we visited Kalnu Parkas which features ‘Hill of Three Crosses’.

It’s where 7 Franciscan friars were beheaded at the top in the 1300’s & firstly marked with wooden crosses but a new monument was erected in 1989 after the Soviets destroyed a previous one from 1916.
