I was recently in a call where i briefly discussed some drawbacks of THORChain, one of them was limited pool slots.

THORChain will support economically significant assets (large piece of a cake), but short-tail assets won't get access to cross-chain liquidity.

$XRUNE : $RUNE pool will be the core for ThorStarter. This will be the pool which will connect new projects with THORChain liquidity pools.

You can expect more liqudity and fees through such structure.

But this is my just assumption, which i made from publicly available info.

Obviously ThorStarter team will confirm things in time, so best is to wait. :)
