MORNING PRAYER & TROUBLES AND TRIALS:
Lord, as I face difficulties and trials, please help me remember that you are always with me. Give me the comfort I need to face each new day with confidence and hope. Help me trust in your promises and be a comfort to others.

Behind and adjoining the hermitage paddocks my neighbour is one such shepherd... collies on the quadbike scan the fields well after dark, looking for the lost, the sick and the rejected. They are taken 'home' May we also be found by the Good Shepherd and be taken home.
