This is what it's like trying to get a conference reimbursement from the institution. A 1000 dollar reimbursement sent back over 38 cents. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ₯΄

Check out the latest study led by Ronit Schwartz, PhD from the Igor Brodsky lab. The talented Dr. Christopher Bourne (he/him) helped unravel the intricate response to Yersinia, which activates sequentially and spatially distinct death complexes! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Congratulations Ronit! Awesome study working out sequential cell death pathway activation during Yersinia Pestis infection. We are currently using this paper in the lab as a blueprint for some other work!

Finding out HHMI is canceling the Hanna H. Gray Fellows competition is heartbreaking. Especially since if they decide to hold it next year I’ll no longer be eligible

As a former HHMI Gilliam fellow, I’m deeply disappointed to see HHMI cancel the Hanna Gray this year and pause all competitions. Leslie Vosshall PhD, Erin O’Shea β€” this was a moment to lead with vision, not retreat.
