Agree- it’s more nuanced, particularly in post stroke dysphagia or other acute presentations. We need to consider prognosis, with objective ax where possible to inform thickener usage. European Stroke Org dysphagia guideline 2021 -quality of evidence -low, but strong rec for intervention
