Race and identity have in fact factored in many of the big news stories of the last few years, though. I think the problem is many top people in newsrooms think that topics like racial disparities and LGBTQ rights = identity politics, but topics like the MAGA movement don’t.

If is gonna keep talking about colorism, they need someone knowledgeable enough to moderate the conversation. It’s actual malpractice to allow what the darker-skinned women are saying about their experiences to be misconstrued continuously.
