Death in the family is never enjoyable... Even when we know it's coming for some time. Just had to sell a portion of my investments so I can take a flight and do what I must. Frustrating as it can be, I'm thankful I work for a company that allows me to do so.

A bittersweet goodbye to the overnight crew at 1068... Freight Team Appreciation week didn't happen here, but I still took time thanking them for all they did during my short tenure covering for NOASM Joe. They're a great team and can do miracles when needed. I will miss them.

With the overnight Supervisor on leave, and the NOASM out for the week, minimum... I have the honor of overseeing the night crew once again. I'm reminded once again that any team can be great or not depending on their leadership team. This is a good team that just needed a push.
