LAMDA Speaking in Public Level 2 results are in... 100% Distinctions for all 14 students. I am so chuffed! I am delighted for the students but I work tirelessly for these results & it is so good to see the reward for them all!

Term 2 timeline:
Week 6: LAMDA Mocks/KS3 assessments
Week 7: LAMDA exams
Week 8: Weekend rehearsals for Secondary Show
Week 9: Show week
Week 10: KS4 assessments

Hopefully get some sleep in there too 🤣🫣😅

It always makes me sad when I hear of schools dropping drama/art department. To see drama as just an easy subject is to not look at the growth of a child’s mind & personally. No other subject can grow a kids confidence like drama.

Skills learnt in the drama class help with many careers.

Entertainment

1 week until our Level 2 LAMDA Speaking in Public mocks... it is non-stop (but I love it).

Giddy this morning... some of our Year 9s have a devising workshop with The Paper Birds and I am SO EXCITED! I did my first ever CPD with the ladies back in 2020, and I am ecstatic that I get to see their brilliant work in action!
