Superman #316
Bronze Age Metallo definitely feels like no man’s B plot villain. The fights feel brutal in that there’s not a too much of a hard advantage over Supes it’s. We get a fight where both men are struggling. A raw painful fight in the mud.

Maytallo Day 3. Really looking forward to rereading the Rodger Corben material. I think this is a really clever mechanic for a Metallo fight in getting his heart rate to increase to get the K radiation to decrease.

Maytallo Day 2
Technically not a Metallo story. Including it because it’s funny that it’s the second mention of John Corben, a full 10 years after his 1st appearance, he’s more obscure than Zha-vam at this point of time. Overall not a bad story about Clark’s paranoia.

Always fascinated with how often Silver age stories are about being replaced. Metallo’s first appearance is interesting because the Kryptonite feels secondary to him being a doppelgänger character.

This is the most I’ve wanted a toy.
