We are less than 6 months from Election Day, but truly its 4 months until folks start voting. So, (as I have been saying) August and September will be critical and campaigns (presidential, senate, house, gubernatorial etc) cannot wait until the fall to turn things up a notch.

To the contrary, I think Biden wants a direct confrontation with Trump EARLY to shape the race on Biden’s terms. Plus - people start voting on September! Debates in October are too late.
