2/ I cannot begin to outline why this is wrong. Using bully boy tactics will not work. Threats and intimidation may work with those who are afraid for their jobs or positions. But this is about our LIVES. We will fight back with everything we have. This cartoon was never truer.

3/ When I say we, there is not just one ‘we’. We can keep a secret too. There are more of us than there are of you people. And let’s not just talk about Bill Shorten, who is only the arm of the NDIS. Let’s talk about Anthony Albanese and Treasury. Because the buck stops at the top.

4/ To be clear, many of us are lifelong Labor voters and we do not want the LNP back. But dancing around like Snowball in Animal Farm, shrilling ‘surely you don’t want them back’ is simply not going to work, two party system or not. We vote and we organise.

5/ I am almost dead, truth be told. I’m increasingly ill. I don’t have what I once have. But I have been mentoring and training others and so have many others. Hilariously, the NDIS did some of that. Helped us make sure we were okay enough to grow peer support, networks.

6/ Unsurprisingly, no empowered cripple is enamoured of the idea of returning to slavery & oppression. To forced gratitude and to being the recipient of demanded compliance and silence. The difference between you white, abled, metro centric lads is this. We have nothing to lose.

7/ Except the NDIS. Look at those who have chosen the Party over the People. Look at those who have chosen power over life, and voice. What vested interests do they hold? What vest are THEY wearing? Strip it bare. We are disabled, and we know how to fight. And now we do so.
