A look back to Marvel’s original film slate from the mid 2000s!

The slate features an Iron Man movie that was set for release around Christmas 2005, a Namor movie set for summer 2006, and films in development such as: Nick Fury, Captain America, Silver Surfer, Deathlok, etc.

There was originally going to be a sequel to the 2003 Daredevil film but never occurred due to the poor reviews of the first movie.

Ben Affleck revealed he was interested in adapting the “Born Again” storyline or the “Guardian Devil” graphic novel in a sequel.

X2 was originally going to feature Angel in the story where he would have been experimented on by Stryker and be turned into Archangel.

The character was cut from the script as well as Beast due to budget concerns but both were brought into X-Men 3.
