I was a Libertarian until my 30's. I was disabled all my adult life due to epilepsy, and in 2017 I had major brain surgery at 30. By 2018 I was no longer having seizures and that year I was up for "Medical review" which meant, I was no longer disabled. Great news right?

The thing people hate in others is often a reflection or projection of their own fears and insecurities. To love your neighbor is to come to terms with those fears and insecurities. To love your neighbor "as yourself" is quite a spectacular command.

Trump is a literal conman. Imagine Kamala Harris running a scam like this. First, it’s unimaginable. Because she’s a professional and not a two-bit crook. Second, right-wing media would go nuts and so would MSM. But since we’ve gotten used to Trump, this doesn’t get any coverage.
