The Ghetto fightbacks were astonishing, but where are their stories? Hollywood prefers the myth of the Righteous Gentile. Every agent told me, 'No market for tales of Jewish Resistance' . I AM JUDEN now a UK Bestseller for 6 months. Thankyou for proving the agents wrong.

I went to the bar in Malta last year where he drunk himself to death after a day's filming Gladiator. The bar were selling souvenir t-shirts of the frankly ridiculous round that finished him off. Bad taste? The drinks were just for him.

Can Steven Zaillian please adapt every novel and Robert Elswit shoot them as a gleaming monochrome film noir? Ripley is utterly sublime.

April 29 in 1945, American forces liberated Dachau, the first concentration camp established by Nazi Germany.

I’m trying to recall details of a WW2 (I think) false-flag operation where one country tricked a lone enemy warship or U-boat into participating in a surprise (and fictitious attack). Ring any bells? Thanks.
