Today we remember & honour the lives lost in our province on April 18 & 19, 2020. My thoughts are with their families & loved ones, & all who were impacted by the tragic events that took place. We are also reminded of the solidarity & resilience of Nova Scotians #NovaScotiaStrong

Today is #BellLetsTalk Day - a time to spread awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health. The past two years have been especially challenging for us all. Today, I encourage you to pick up the phone and check in with a friend, loved one, or neighbour.

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of Roger Bacon, Nova Scotia’s 21st Premier. I have always appreciated Roger’s wisdom and our conversations, and I’m glad we had this photo taken during my last visit. I extend my condolences to Roger’s family and loved ones.
