I’m hearing of a number of journalists being asked to pay £300 to get accreditation to attend the 20 May High Court hearing in the Assange extradition appeal. At the same time, journalists outside England & Wales were again denied remote access. Not a good look for open justice.

“How bizarre this case is, the US are given endless chances to change their case in order to get Julian extradited. The judges already have the arguments on paper. I think it would be pretty likely that we expect the decision the same day on Monday. Stella Assange #FreeAssangeNOW

Criminalizing privacy before our eyes.
My friends building privacy tools are scared.
Many are leaving the privacy space.
Soon privacy won't be an option.
Stop this 'I have nothing to hide' bullshit. It's about pushing back against the terrifying future we're flying towards.

5yr jail sentence for David McBride today is a perversion of justice. The 1st person (anywhere) to go to jail in relation to war crimes in 🇦🇫 isn't the war criminal but the guy who exposed them. Our whistleblower laws jail and discourage truth-tellers
