Despite an abundance of good intention, many ICBs just do not seem to understand how hospice charities need to plan , budget and work. A charity and it’s Board will always need a responsible approach to deficit budgets. I was glad to be asked about this by Health and Social Care Committee
'This not a drill, this is a very difficult situation and hospice services are being cut back.' The UK hospice sector faces a deficit of £77m.
