The Conservation Volunteers of St Mellons & Trowbridge planted 200 native wildflowers at our ancient woodlands Cath Cobb Woods on the weekend. We planted in the woodland glade area and around the pond, details in pics. Flowers, newts and birdsong, a perfect morning. Thanks all 💚

We're really pleased to be able to offer free eco-friendly and reusable period products thanks to support from Cardiff Council. If you live in #StMellons and need help with period products come along to St Mellons Pantry on Tuesday (9am to 5pm).

Pleased to say we are back working with Cardiff Harbour Authority in the Bay. A small work party this morning removed 32 bags plastic bottles, 40 of general rubbish, a road barrier, cones, and lots needles. 1 small area to tackle next week. Hopefully people notice the difference

St Mellons & Trowbridge Conservation Volunteer session this Saturday 6th April at Cath Cobb Woods. We'll be planting wildflowers in our woodland glade area and pond.

Around 60 people turned up, making a huge difference to the state of park, riverbanks & street. Fantastic work everyone 💚

A real community event today in Hamadryad Park & Clarence Embankment. Local residents joined We Are Cardiff Keep Grangetown Tidy & us to tackle a huge amount of rubbish on the river banks & around the streets & park. 60 people gave up their morning collecting 155 bags. Awesome effort!
