When I heard Michael Biggs had also had trouble with the same journal, I suspected this was not a one off. Michael Biggs also submitted a subject access request and discovered that he too was not being judged on the science, but on unjustified claims of transphobia.

By not publishing our work because of my twitter feed, BMJ Open have chosen to ignore the objective standards of science. Moroever, by leaving the existing article uncorrected they are misleading the public.
