Southampton Hidden History SO (Postcode) Pubs Aye. Corner of Simnel St and Bugle St. My office was in Bugle St. Would walk by on way to City Centre. Bosun’s Locker changed names as well I think (site of Jane Austen’s house?)
IanWellandAuthor SO (Postcode) Pubs Yes the recently reopened Juniper Berry is mock Tudor from c. 1929. A previous building there was owned by brother Frank Austen. On their father’s death Jane, her mother, sister and several others lived there 1806-09.
