My life: Being a math professor is like, "Here is this carefully crafted beautiful piece of math that is the culmination of centuries of intellectual investigation." Student: is this on the test?

It's pretty interesting how just before there a news articles about brain damage from COVID, there are πŸ’©πŸ‚ articles about brain implications from "lockdowns". And by interesting, I mean totally predictable in a post truth propaganda driven world.

I had hopes that the NDP and the Libs could form a real coalition. Then we would only have one left-leaning party But it seems that #SellOutSingh is putting his ego ahead of Canadians So for me there is only one left-leaning party left The Liberals They will get my vote

I expect conservative premiers to march lockstep with Pierre Poilievre. I wasn’t expecting to see NDP premiers doing the same. Shameful and pathetic.

The Covid activists fighting for better policies are *not* the folks you should be mad at. People with Long Covid are not either. They didn't create this situation. They are not the virus. It's sad, but I have to keep repeating this

A national call for a Canadian inquiry on COVID-19 from a group of Canadian academics (including yours truly). A Canadian inquiry is long over due of one of the most consequential health events in our nation’s history. Justin Trudeau Chrystia Freeland Mark Holland Canada's CPHO

Pierre Poilievre has a problem. Justin Trudeau will not stand down to his politics. The Prime Minister will stand up for his government, for Canada, and for us. He’s a world leader who’s ready and has shown experience and courage while under pressure and scrutiny. Just watch him.

The man is applying to be a G7 world leader without a security background check. How is this even a question? Has #cdnpoli totally gone stupid?

Canadian in Alberta (@canadianinab) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I read a post yesterday that described PMJT & the Libs as unelectable I'm not going to vote for Poilievre, who keeps company with crooks & racists & I won't vote for Singh, who broke his word For me, they are unelectable That just leaves the Libs Maybe I'm the only one I hope not

My proposal: Pass a law that any MP's in a party whose leader lacks Top Secret Security Clearance cannot vote in a Non-Confidence Vote that could trigger an election. Only one party currently has this deficiency, so it should pass easily. It's a matter of National Security.

BREAKING:  horror as scientists confirm cataclysmic global warming of 1.75-2°C by 2030-2050 is unavoidable even in best-case emissions scenarios 🧡

DJ Phoenix Sorry. By any objective measure the health mess started under Klein in the 90's (PC). It was partially reversed under the NDP and has catastrophically worsened under the UCP. They've been in power for 5 years now - how much longer do you need? Why is it getting worse?

Probably not coincidental that the demonization of Haitian immigrants by the right is coming at the same time the Democrats have an Afro-Caribbean woman running for president.

I don’t qualify for dental. I don’t receive child benefits or reduced daycare costs and I’ve worked and paid taxes all my life, but I still want these benefits for others, I want Canada to be a healthy, educated progressive country.

Kathryn Mathias (@kathrynmathias1) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Canadian voters, please think hard before you support the CPC. Take note that they think using M*usk's Starlink is the way to go. M*sk denied the use of Starlink by Ukraine, to help the Kremlin. Think about what decisions they'd make as cabinet ministers if CPC formed govt.

Marc (@marcdez55) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Talk about mixed messages. 60% of Canadians do not want an election right now. PP was down 9 points last week. But now....they want you to think the Liberals are in 4th place in the polls. You would have to be a special kind of stupid to buy it. #cdnpoli

I don’t qualify for dental. I don’t need daycare. I don’t get the GST rebate. I make more with the carbon rebate than I pay out in carbon pricing. I think all kids should eat for free at school. I pay my taxes. I believe in social programs for the good of society.
