These university encampments are microcosms of the world we all deserve. Multi-faith, intergenerational, safe community spaces. Free education, art, food sharing, consent and care. Parents are able to let their children run freely, elders are taken care of with respect.

Can confirm. I was at CCNY NAC building on Tue. Student was stopped by guards because she didn't have summer sticker on id. She said she was taking a final. Guard made her take out her laptop to show her email & class schedule. She was let through but such needless stress & delay
