Ecojustice South End Environmental Injustice Society (SEED) Plastic is virtually impossible to recycle bc it doesn’t break down. It gets buried in landfills or shipped to poor countries we pay to store it. The % of plastic recycled doesn’t compare to production. Microplastics are now being found in food & water.
