Finally got my hands on the latest SomewhereForUs 🌈 Shane Strachan & I were interviewed by the lovely Hanna Louise and I think we came off nae bad! Also great to see featured Lavender Menace Queer Books Archive & Blog, Damian Barr & Briana Pegado FRSA - whose book I just ordered & can't wait to read 💜✨

Book 11 of 2024 is Shane Strachan 's debut poetry collection. Written in English and Doric Scots, it focuses on a range of themes from Aberdeen's volatile relationship with oil, the work of fashion designer Bill Gibb, and queer love to name just a few.

So sad to learn of Faith Ringgold’s passing. I thought with her work a lot for Fragmentary Forms, particularly her piece In Picasso’s Studio (1991), a powerful piece of art historical thinking and reimagination
