It's important to recognize these effects then work toward self-care.

I am extremely grateful that Governor Josh Shapiro and Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Education have spent time listening to the concerns of students and teachers and responded with a real policy solution to a costly problem: transitioning to fully online testing. I'm excited to see this in action.

Our schools need more learning and less testing.

That’s why I’m announcing new changes to our school assessment system that will deliver more support to educators and students while saving millions of taxpayer dollars.
