Today, Carol Moseley Braun, nominated by Pres Biden, will be sworn in as chair of U.S. African Development Foundation.

Moseley Braun shattered glass ceilings as the first Black woman to serve in the U.S. Senate & the first female Senator from IL, and she continues to do so. A well-deserved accomplishment.
