Last night I joined lots of friends, including Comptroller Glenn Hegar, in support of Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector candidate Rick Barnes for Tax Assessor-Collector. Sen. Phil King and many others were there to support a great candidate to keep Tarrant County Red.

Great day in Hillsboro. Newest Buc-ees opened. Arch “Beaver” Alpin was there to cut the ribbon. Joined county judge Lewis and Rep Orr for the festivities. Congrats to Art Mann and the Hillsboro Economic Dev. Team.

Joined Pres. Mills (c) and Mr. Westbrook at the Hill College Boots and Suits fundraiser in Johnson County tonight. Great to see so many friends come out to support students at Hill College.

Real honor today to join Dr. James Hurley and Rep. Shelby Slawson to honor Dr. Sam Pack at Tarleton State and the naming of the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business. A great citizen and a great Texan.

This morning I enjoyed an office call w/ Granbury ISD School Board President Barbara Townsend and Vice President Courtney Gore, along w/ Superintendent Jeremy Glenn, to discuss SB 1 and SB 2 from the 4th Special Session (88(4)) as well as school choice and other items. #txlege

Successful day in Austin today. Salvation Army of Midlothian popped in the office this morning & was able to catch me while I was there. This afternoon I spoke at the Energy Innovation Forum on Geothermal. TY to PowerHouse Texas for inviting me to be a part of the forum #txlege

Enjoyed lunch and an office call in Hill County today with Judge Lewis.
