If kids could vote would the excruciating battle for basic rights, safety & dignity be easier? Kids are people but our culture treats them as status symbols, economic tokens or objects to be controlled. Until society recognizes kids as people, this will remain an uphill climb.

The problem they are running into is that it’s not just the anti TTI people they are arguing with. The juvenile justice and family policing activists have joined forces with the survivors, because at the end of the day out of home placement doesn’t work. Good luck though I guess
