Leancubator With the closing speech of Teodoro Miano, Secretary General of CIHEAM, it is now time to bring this rich webinar to a close.

Leancubator Skills and employment is the next topic to be developed by Mr Mounir Ghribi, Director of International Cooperation and Research Promotion at the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics of Italy (OGS).

Leancubator Ms Rania Koussani, Agroeconomist Engineer, CSR Advisor at the Tunisian Office of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and DEVLOK Project Manager, will now explain the impact of involving coastal communities in plastic pollution management.

The floor is now given to Ms. Nesrine Ziad from Leancubator who will talk about SMEs and innovation for blue transformation, presenting ongoing developments and challenges to be faced today.

Ms. Roberta De Palma, Chief Technical Advisor at UNIDO, will present the challenges and opportunities identified for the sustainable and circular development of the fish processing and aquaculture industry in the Mediterranean.

It is now time for Mr Miguel Bernal, Executive Secretary of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) at the FAO, to speak before the panel discussion begins.

Opening session is now running with Mrs. Al Khudhairy, Director for Maritime Policy and Blue Economy at DG MARE, Mr. Al-Sakran, Executive Director of ADC – UfM Jordan Co-Presidency, and Mr. Abadi, Deputy Secretary General, Water, Environment and Blue Economy of UfM.

The webinar will be moderated by Mrs Yasmine Seghirate, CIHEAM Administrator.
