The sunshine before the rain 🌦️ The sky was an incredible colour and the sun made the grass sing with green.

This is one of the many exhibitions I wish I'd seen. Fantastic buildings plus Billy Butlin ran the amusement park there

Hat tip to Scottish Water for the installation of their 100th top up tap-hydration for the nation indeed. Shows how valuable drinking fountains are-old and new.

UPDATE: The planning application to redevelop St Anthony's Gardens (1933) and former Taylor's Garage (1936) in Penzance has been rejected by Cornwall Council. The gardens and garage compliment the modernist Jubilee Pool (GII) and should be adaptively reused within any new scheme.

Thanks to Chrissie Burgess for sharing this video about the Grafton car park at . I really like the building and would argue it's an important layer of the town's built at the point when mass tourism transferred from rail to road

The fairground at . The glazed building in the background is holiday camp which makes the image post-1966. I'm wondering if the thatched building on the left was a Tiki Bar because they were a thing for a while. Anyone remember it?

I left my shoes and socks there -
I wonder if they're dry? 😁
