Last week, Year 3 enjoyed their Geography field trip exploring the riverbank of the River Derwent.

After a day of wet socks, fish in our wellies, and a game of pooh sticks, they returned wind-swept but rain-free! A successful day indeed!

Year 1 received a special delivery, an incubator with 7 unhatched eggs 🐣

Students created fact files all about chicks as they kept a close watch for any signs of cracks or movement! Last Wednesday we were lucky enough to welcome the first 4 chicks with the others joining after!

Over the weekend, the U11 boys team and the U12's team participated in their inaugural cricket matches (picture 1 for U11 and 2 & 3 for U12).

This Earth Day, Scarborough College is proud to announce our sustainable school visits. We're focusing on eco-friendly initiatives to inspire a new generation of environmentally aware students. For every school visit we host, we'll be planting at least one tree in the local area!

During Mrs. Marshall's EP last term, our students spent four weeks designing and crafting their very own board games. There was lots of excitement as they eagerly put their creations to the test!

Congratulations to four of the Scarborough College Sport equestrian team who have returned from a successful British Youth under 18s Eventing Squad training. They were lucky enough to train with some of the top trainers in the country, all aiming to be selected for teams later in the year!

The CityofYorkHCJunior u16 Boys topped their group to reach the England Hockey Supra League National final. A very tight final v Surbiton Hockey Club saw Surbiton equalise with 5 minutes to go. Surbiton edged the shoot out 4-3. Silver medal and huge congratulations to CityofYorkHCJunior 👏👏👏👏👏

Before the Easter holiday's our Years 3-6 joined forces with the Keep Scarborough Tidy group to clean up litter along the South Cliff Gardens. What a transformation, let's continue to keep Scarborough Tidy!
