They are bad. And school systems and states need to act. This year the legislature (with a Bill Stanley bill) made clear localities can ban them.

We might need to go further.

This is what leaving it to the states looks like.

This is right-wing ideology getting in the way of helping kids and communities.

Every community (rural conservative ones!) that have had this vote have voted to up their sales tax to invest in school infrastructure.

This bipartisan bill would have helped Virginians. It would have ensured folks could get the medication they need and brought down their cost of living.

As long as Virginia Democrats control the legislature we won’t stop trying to reduce drug prices.
