Happy , check out this skull from a juvenile Gryposaurus! These hadrosaurs called North America their home roughly 75 million years ago, and this particular individual would have enjoyed the lush jungle that makes up the Kaiparowits Formation. (1/2)

Scientists have found fossil vertebrae of what could be the longest snake to ever exist. This incredible snake lived around 47 million years ago, reached up to 15 meters in length, and belongs to a new species of snake

Happy !
This is IRScNB R 303, an immaculate Mosasaurus on display at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences
What's super special about this guy is how clearly the palate is preserved, a region of mosasaur anatomy that is currently the bane of my existence...

For this : a cool little fun fact about the neck of Acrocanthosaurus. Did you know that the neck spines of acro had a 'locking' mechanism? When the neck flexed upwards, the spines would interlock and limit sideways motion.

The Berlin Archaeopteryx, one of the most famous and beautiful fossils ever discovered. Originally hailed as the link between dinosaurs and birds, this animal certainly helped better our understanding of their relationships.

For , here's a fossil crocodylian from the Oldman Formation in southern Alberta on display Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology.

It took a moment for me to realize, but this is a specimen that David Evans, Wendy Sloboda, and I collected in 2018. Cool to see it's now on display!

For an crossover, I wanted to spotlight this mount of the amphibian ancestor Eryops at Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris, a long way from the temnospondyl's native Texas. Love the artwork depicting Eryops as a dynamic predator instead of a lazy landlubber!
