I spent last week in South Sudan, where thousands of people are flooding over the border from neighbouring Sudan to flee the war.

What I saw shocked me to the core - and though it may feel far away, the UK has a role in all of this.

The reports out of Khartoum #Sudan are beyond harrowing. This is far more than violent clashes, this is the full blown collapse of a city and humanitarian disaster that is worsening at a sickening pace.
