Every year we dog sit our ‘granddog’ Lola while her family are away on holiday. She’s always had a whale of a time running on the beach but now she’s blind and can’t walk far so can only manage a few 5 minute trots up the lane. She stinks but we love her

I find all this ‘metaphorical landscape’ stuff at #RHSChelsea a little pretentious. I’m sure if I thought hard enough I could come up with a metaphor for my little garden. How about the clash and contradiction garden, a symbol for the fact that I haven’t got a clue
