Afterwards, one Republican member of the House called the ACA the “most dangerous piece of legislation ever passed in Congress.” Another predicted the country would “never recover from it.”

Congress must have the courage to act and pass commonsense gun safety laws, including an assault weapons ban.

Over the past three years, President Biden and I have:

Created more than 14 million new jobs.
Increased wages for tens of millions of Americans.
